About the Event

As an alumnus of The Dental College of Georgia, Dr. Collins is a proud former District 4 member. Dr. Burris is an alumna of Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. As co-residents that both started residency immediately after graduating dental school, Drs. Burris and Collins were challenged by the steep learning curve of a surgical residency.

In this co-hosted webinar, Drs. Burris and Collins look forward to sharing the similarities and differences in their journeys to being accepted into an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. Additionally, these co-residents will answer questions submitted by the ASDA D4 members about: the scope of procedures performed by Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, surgical training schedule & residency curriculum, achieving work-life balance, research, fostering academic interests, standing out during the application process, and preparing for the CBSE.
