About the Event
Señora Patricia Ortiz is from Colombia South America and has lived and worked the majority of her adult life in the United States. As the Bride of a military Officer, she has had the opportunity to visit many wonderful places and visit many countries that have helped her develop diverse experiences and has demonstrated success in public and private sectors both in the US and abroad.
Señora Ortiz is an accomplished professional with over twenty years of progressive experience in education as well as many years of experience in Psychology, marketing, administration and management. She has designed, managed, and lead community based programs to help at risk kids and their families establish educational goals in order to be successful in school. After moving to Texas, she accepted a position at Plano ISD, where she teaches on-level, honors, and AP level Spanish courses and loves being with her students on their educational journeys.
Señora Ortiz has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Global Management from Phoenix University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Santo Tomas University in Bogota, Colombia, SA. She holds professional certifications in Child Psychology, Foreign Language Instruction, Case Management, and Managing Classroom Environment.
Señora Ortiz loves traveling and enjoys spending time with her family. Her main goal is to help her students enjoy discovering the Spanish language and the culture that surrounds it and to also establish effective relationships with parents, community and other staff members in the process.
