volunteer information

District 4 ASDA includes 5 states: Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee.

Listed are a few volunteer opportunities for each state. Dental related are listed first, followed by non-dental related. At the bottom of the page, there are also some general ideas for volunteerism. For the purposes of admissions, your volunteer hours do NOT have to be in the dental or health field.

Keep in mind that the purpose of volunteerism is to demonstrate your passion and dedication to public service, selflessness, and leadership, so with anything that you donate your time to, being consistent with it is key. Please understand that if you are required to have additional training or certification to volunteer, it will be 100% worth it! Dentistry is about serving others so serve as much as you can with passion.
